I L O V E this new Vogue pattern and know it will suit my figure beautifully - in my dreams... I'd need to lose at least a stone and stretch my legs at least another 10 inches - oh-hum. Here it is, my dream summer outfit:
In the meantime Ian's gone over to Ireland to visit relatives so I have a few days to myself. It's great, the fridge is filled with salad, goats cheese, pineapple, mushrooms, cuscus, mango etc - you get the idea, all the things Ian won't eat!
I'm working on a blue spotty skirt and a casual white linen jacket for spring/summer - see, I'm sewing an outfit! More later, The skirt's done and jacket's almost finished.
Have a lovely weekend all.

Your fridge sounds delicious! I like all those things too. The jumpsuit is cute. I just remember them from being a kid in the 70s and having to take off all my clothes every time I needed a pee!
Ha, ha Karin - yes, that's why I never make anything relating to 80's jumpsuits! I have too many memories of poppers that didn't or trying to keep my white jumpsuit off the floor when I went to the loo!
I really like this pattern! I haven't seen it before! but it would be the perfect summer outfit!
That jumpsuit is gorgeous. Guess I'm too practically-minded, always have been, because every time I spied a beautiful jumpsuit, I would immediately think of the practicalities of living in it for a day, and that would be enough to convince me that such an outfit would not be part of my wardrobe.
I'm having a flshback to a recent Chanel perfume ad - beautiful girl, beautiful boy, boat, train finally meeting at a station - she had something very similar on in the final shot, but it was in black....
